The detailed design service for a building’s control system includes the
production and provision of the following:
Project Specification
Comprising of; Scope of Works, Health & Safety, Design Responsibilities,
Tender Requirements, Project Documentation, Technical sections for the
BMS, Controls Equipment and Motor Control Panels, Plant description of
operations in narrative form for all plant to be controlled. BMS input and
output schedules. Controller & Regulator schedules. Control Panel and
also Equipment schedules. Control Panel block wiring diagrams.
Tender evaluation
Post Tender contract support
Includes; Evaluation of contractor’s proposals. Attendance at meetings.
Inspection of contractor’s technical submittals. Off site inspection
of contractor’s bms software and plant graphics. Inspection & testing of
control panels. On site witnessing inspection of the completed control
system.
